Short Video - Reviving our Earth, World Environment Day 2024
EIACP RP on Ecotourism, Sikkim State Council of Science and Technology prepared a short video clippings as an activity to observe World Environment Day 2024. The video displayed informative facts about the theme for World Environment Day 2024 “Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience. The video highlighted some of the important issues our earth is facing. It displayed information about how desertification has become petrifying reality that has impacted about 40% of Earth’s land resulting in significant impact on human population. The video explains how drought number and duration of drought has increased. Information about how we can achieve Sustainable Development Goals and various initiatives that can be taken in order to revive our environment is also displayed in the video. The video was shared to all the stakeholders and awareness was created among the stakeholders and general public.
